SPOOKtacular October {Acorn Cottage Facade}

 October is one of my favorite months of the years. October brings cooler temperatures, Fall Break (a week of no school), and Halloween. The Halloween season is celebrated hugely in the city of New Orleans.

Today, I'd like to share the Acorn Cottage dressed in her Halloween glory. The front yard features pumpkins stacked as topiaries in garden pots. Felt bats fly away along the front of the house.

On the door, an orange and black chinoserie pumpkin welcomes guests and adds the perfect touch to the Halloween decor. More bats and a life-sized mummy guard us during the month of October.

Black feathery wreaths hang in teh windows, metal ghosts line the walkway, and crows perch along the fence.

Thanks for stopping by.

You should see the glow at night. Stay tuned!

Halloween Facade, y'all!
