I love fresh flowers, and the shades of the Mardi Gras season. Again this year, I headed to my local florist, Mitch's Flowers on Magazine Street for Carnival-spirited designs. Monique and her team hit it out of the park once again. Blooms in shades of purple, green, and gold are ready to greet our many guests this Carnival season.

They are lovely,,I love fresh flowers as well...Too cold here to plant them yet although I saw pansies at our local market this week...Brrr
