The Uptown Acorn: It's HOT, y'all

As I stated in a previous post, I am melting! It is HOT!!! Without any rain lately, the temperatures continue to soar closer to three digits.

What is your thermostat set on during the day? Night?

Ours: Day 72 degrees/ Night 65 degrees (then J raises to 68 degrees).

It's hot here too, just a weekend break with a storm. Ours is set to 74°daytime, 65° nighttime. (74° upstairs where no one sleeps unless we have a guest). Our downstairs stays cooler than the 74, and we're not really sure why, but we love it!

Good afternoon, Ron! It depends when the hubby is not home! With him, it is really chilly! I'm wearing leggings and long sleeve shirts during the day at home! xoxo

PS...Thermostat is set at 75 in the day time with ceiling fans..72 at night..,Trying to save electricity....I live in an old house with lousy windows and poor insulation..

Here in the northeast, I think we are the only ones in the country not melting. It's been rainy, gloomy and cool the last few days. We're generally at 73 in daytime, and 68 at night.
