Mardi Gras decor "plays well" with the colors in the sunroom. There is an abundance of green shades as well as golds used throughout the room. Green is my most favorite color, and I enjoy many shades of it.
In the sunroom, the round table in the window features a vase filled with plumes in purple, green, and gold. Who needs florals when feathers will do just right? On the table, porcelain boxes in shapes of a crown, king cake, and king's float add to the spirit of the season.
A collection of parade doubloons sits in one of my favorite tortoise shell-inspired bowls.
Another jester sits atop the vintage green scale on a dropleaf table. Another Baobab candle in green (from Sotre) surrounded by a crown sits in the other pan.
Various touches add just the right amount of Mardi Gras charm.

What a beautiful room, and that vase filled with plumes is perfect on that table. Also, loving that little jester.
