It was not the most beautiful day when I snapped photos of the Acorn Cottage, but I still think she looks pretty dressed in her holiday splendor.
The front door features a new shield monogrammed door hanger by Cynthia Kolls. It is surrounded by live greenery and a plaid ribbon.
I love the holiballs that I added to my Christmas decor last year. I see that they are available locally this year (Does that mean everyone will have them?).
As stated before, I am a traditionalist. I love red, green, gold, and silver in my Christmas decor. It is classic and never will go out of style. This is the second season that I have used my plaid ribbon by d.stevens, and it had weathered very well.
Have you decorated yet? Tomorrow is December 1. Get moving!

ReplyDeleteYes, definitely a very pretty house, day or all lit up at night. I'm with you, I prefer the traditional colors. Always have, and always will. Your front porch is beautiful. Love those shutters. And those holiballs? Really adds a festive touch. Everything is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLooking good, Ron! The holiballs are great!
