It is one of my most favorite times of the year in New Orleans, the month of October - Fall and Halloween. I just hope the temperatures will get cooler and stay that way, for it is still way too hot and humid.
J and I recently decorated our font yard and porch with the signs of Halloween and Fall. I have always loved the colors of autumn and the promise of cooler temperatures.
The Front Door
The front door features a new door hanger that I purchased from Southern Antiques in Laurel, MS this summer. I love the pumpkin topiary in a chinoserie urn. So chic!
The Porch
Agnes the Witch and Mumford the Mummy greet our visitors. Pumpkins and orange lights add to the festive decor. I also love the stack of real pumpkins in the large olive jar.
The Yard
I again LOVE the stacked pumpkins in the pots in the garden. Near the gate, a large ceramic pumpkin which I purchased from Boxwoods back in 2004-2005 greets our visitors. This years pumpkins were purchased from Perino's Nursery. Creepy branch garlands and flicker lights also line the fence.
We are ready for Halloween. Are you?
If you dare {Halloween Facade}, y'all!
So very festive! Not quite ready for Halloween here. There is space to do something creative, just not much inspiration.😜
