The featured House Float today is titled, Acadiana Hay Ride and is an homage to the Cajun zydeco culture of South Louisiana. Completed through the Krewe of Red Beans Hire a Mardi Gras Artist program, the home is located at the corner of Euterpe and Constance Streets in the Lower Garden District. Here are the house floats completed through the program: click HERE!

Such fun. So colorful. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThe homes you have featured on the Mardi Gras tour this year have been so creative and beautiful! I love zydeco music so I was happy to see a house with that theme. We have a very popular international folk festival every year in Richmond, VA but with COVID it was all virtual last year. Every year, there is a zydeco band in the line-up and with artists from all over the globe there the zydeco tent is always a crowd favorite and always packed!
ReplyDeleteThese have become my daily guilty pleasure. Love them all. Keep 'em coming!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Ron! What a unique and fun theme and so colorful! I'm with Rita C, these posts are "my guilty pleasure"! I look forward to these posts! Keep those house floats coming! Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWow they really did a great job on this and the others! Way to go figuring out a way to still have “floats” and for everybody to enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYes! These are so fun to look at. Great spirit of the season!
