Right next to the living room, the sunroom is an exciting room to decorate. The sunroom features the live Frasier fir tree purchased from The Plant Gallery. On the tree, C7 colored lights illuminate the room. Colored lights was a compromise I made with J, and they have really grown on me. The colors of the sunroom allow for the colored glow.
The tree features many of our most favorite ornaments picked up from our favorite shops and our travels. Plaid bows and glittered berries compliment the lights.
On the shelves hangs one of my favorite Christmas purchases from last season, a wreath from Boxwoods Gardens and Gifts in Atlanta. I love the vintage ornaments.
Christmas touches are spread throughout the sunroom. Swags, plaid ribbons, glittered pomegranates, and glittered acorns hang from sconces and fill vessels.
It's an awesome time of year at the Acorn Cottage.

Christmas sunroom, y'all!
It's an awesome time of year ANY time at the Acorn Cottage. I'd buy your home - furnished, of course!
ReplyDeleteGood evening, Ron! I love the sun room! We always had those colored lights when I was young, and they remind me of my childhood! The sun room looks so bright and cheery! I'm glad you gave into J about those--they really do make a statement! I really love that vintage wreath--so A Christmas Story, yet so much classier! xoxo
ReplyDeleteAwesome is right. It looks so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGosh darn it- just lost my comment. Anyway--glad the lights are growing on you. I really do like them in that setting. Your sunroom is perfect, Ron...just lovely. xo Diana
