Deck the ... {Holiday Arrangement}

It is no secret that I adore blue and white ginger jars, and the ginger jar on our front desk became the "star of the show" with greenery and red berries. I've had the red ilex berries for years, and added the pine branches from The Plant Gallery which I purchased early this season. The whole arrangement looks very realistic. The bar has been raised in the faux department lately for sure.

  2. I agree! The faux flowers and greenery that we can buy now are very realistic. The pine that you have is some that I would have to touch to know for sure if it was real or faux! I know fresh flowers are wonderful but allergies and the expense sometimes don't allow them. I love blue and white ginger jars, too. I have faux red berries and the most unlikely color of green tulips in mine. Love the green tulips. I've had them for years and they still look perfect -- except maybe for the color. But with all of the red , green, and gold in Christmas decorating, they add just the right amount of contrast to keep things from being too perfect. I have the arrangement on a console in my foyer along with a wreath hung in front of a mirror, old books, a candlestick with a red and white striped candle, an "antique-y" looking Santa ( another faux ), and my favorite picture of my granddaughter in her Christmas red and green plaid onesy in a rusty looking frame. Every time I look at it, I smile. My favorite Christmas display! Love the fur scarf around the deer's neck! Looks like he's ready for a winter flight!

  3. I love faux that looks so realistic. That's gorgeous. I agree, the bar has certainly been raised on faux, thank goodness!

  4. This is beautiful and I’m impressed that these are faux pieces! Admittedly I use faux quite often especially when I want something to last a long time. Classy as usual Ron!
