SADDLE UP for a great year {POLO: Classroom Theme}
As many of you know, I am in my tenth year teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science at an ISAS school in Lakeview, New Orleans (It is actually my 30th year in education.) Each year I come up with a different theme. This school year the theme is inspired by the Ralph Lauren Polo emblem and is incorporated in many of my boards and displays. "Saddle Up", "Giddy Up", and "Lucky Us" are the phrases I've used to carry the equestrian-inspired theme. The star of the show is the mascot designed especially for me featuring a scientist in his lab coat, goggles, and meter stick galloping on his horse. It is a perfect take on the POLO emblem.
Take a look at this year's classroom theme.

ReplyDelete73 is a D?!! That's awful. Anyway 💚 your Polo theme as I have been a Ralph Lauren girl for a very long time. Your classroom looks handsome indeed. Classiest science classroom I've ever seen. Great idea, great job.
ReplyDeleteI just love seeing what theme you come up with every year! Your students are certainly LUCKY to have such a dedicated teacher.
