Back to School {Door Hanger}
Today was my first day back to school, and the students arrive on Thursday, so it is time to add my newest Back to School acorn to the front door. New Orleans artist Cynthia Kolls did it again! She took my idea, added hers, and created a one-of-a-kind work of art. The bottom of the acorn is simply painted black in chalkboard paint. I can change the text easily. At the top, Cynthia created the marbled notebook effect. What a great idea. The addition of ribbons and chalk add some whimsy to the design.
Between you and me, I'd rather have the blue heron of summer on the door. LOL!
Back to School, y'all!
Very cute! Best wishes for a great school year!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Ron! What a cute, whimsical door decoration! The black and white marbled notebook effect is so clever--that is definitely a symbol of school! Wishing you a great school year! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love it, Ron. Your students would miss a great experience if you weren't there! You always do such a great job on whatever you do...wreaths...plants...furniture...and more! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLove it Ron. You are my hero as I have told you before. I love wonderful teachers like yourself that really want to be in the job and shape our kids for the future. You are a gift. I hope you get a good group of kids that are eager to learn. Happy Back To School.
