Bye Bye Barry
Yes! We survived! Yes! We made it though the rain (drizzle and light winds).
Thanks to all of you for checking on me and J. The hurricane was actually a non-event for our area. I think the National media made much more of it than it was. Overall, we may have received less than an inch of rain.
Glad that’s all you received. I heard that some were ticked off at Al Roker for his “advice”. I guess you just never know. So glad it wasn’t much as you guys have endured a lot.
Good morning, Ron! Yes, we were spared this time--here in Thibodaux, we had very little rain, but we did have some strong wind gusts on and off. We lost a few shingles on our shed in the back, but other than that, we made it though unscathed. Glad everything was good for you and J at the cottage. Have a great day! xoxo
Hahaha, that's epic, Ron.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to read your status, but deplore how the media hypes every.single.event.
