Succulents don't "suck"

I really have never been a huge fan of growing succulents, but after attempting to grow plants in shallow containers I succumbed to at least trying them. You know what? I kinda like them. They are easy to grow and need minimal (very minimal) care. I added succulents in the shallow containers on the back patio.

Here is your biology lesson for the day:

In botany, succulent plants, also known as succulents, are plants that have some parts that are more than normally thickened and fleshy, usually to retain water in arid climates or soil conditions. The word "succulent" comes from the Latin word sucus, meaning juice, or sap.

Succulents, y'all!

  1. Very pretty Ron. I do love them because they kinda take care of themselves in our humid weather.

  4. Good morning, Ron! Your succulents look great--of course, I'm not surprised with that green thumb you have! I had a few years ago, and alas, they didn't survive. I guess that's why I pay to have someone to take care of my flower beds! ;) Have a great day--I know you are stoked thatschool is almost out for summer! xoxo
