The weather has been beautiful lately here in New Orleans. New pine straw mulch was laid last week, so the yard is looking ready for spring. The petunias are continuing to pop. I also added about 100 caladium bulbs which will sprout in the coming weeks.
Here is how the Acorn Cottage looks this week:
I love the springtime in New Orleans and temperatures in the 70s. If only this type of weather could last longer I'd be one happy boy.
SPRING has sprung in NOLA, y'all!
Ahhhhh love it all Ron. Your pretty cottage is looking so great. Oh I hope we see this up north soon.

Thanks. I hope you do too!
DeleteSo pretty. I would be sitting on one of those rockers every minute I could.
ReplyDeleteWe sit in them lots. Thanks. Happy Spring!
DeleteI just love it, Ron. Is this the first full spring you have been in there? Is that right? We are still in the 20s here at night and early mornings. I am SO OVER winter. Have a beautiful night- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYes! It's our first spring. We moved in the new house in September, so it's a year of firsts.
DeleteGood morning, Ron! The Acorn Cottage is looking great! I have surely been loving this weather, and I am with you wishing it would stay like this forever! Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt’ll be exciting to watch the flowers as they grow and fill out. The caladiums will look fabulous! We’re still melting down here but spring will come on quickly once it does!
