This post has been one of my most favorite and most viewed posts since it first appeared on the Uptown Acorn in February 2012. At Carnival time, it is always fun to revisit this post. Every good party needs a signature cocktail.
The always popular parade punch inspired me to search out and tweak recipes for traditional purple, green, and gold libations.

I found several interesting recipes at www.cooks.com
I definitely tweaked each recipe to make it my own. The alcohol of choice for each is VODKA.
I used my newest Carnival must-haves, the large drink dispensers, purchased for $19.98 each at Sam’s. Score!!!
