In the sunroom, the live 9 foot Frasier fir was added in front of the windows. The tree was purchased from and delivered by The Plant Gallery, located on Airline Hwy. The shape and size is perfect for the room. I did give in to J's wanting to use the vintage colored bulbs, and they do look nice. I am much more of a white light kind of guy, but compromising is why we've been together for over 20 years. And those who know me know I just love to compromise. LOL! The tree in the sunroom holds some of our favorite local ornaments and other faves from our travels. I did add new ribbons this year. I cannot get enough of the plaid ribbons by d. stevens from Hazelnut on Magazine Street.
I also love to use the small tinsel tree on the bar. It is filled with my favorite bar-inspired ornaments collected through the years. Cheers!
Here's more of the sunroom in her Christmas splendor:
I love this view from the sunroom to the living room.

Christmas sunroom, y'all!
Good evening, Ron! Loving the festive look of the sunroom! I’m so glad you compromised and gave in to the vintage colored lights! Love the look of the tree. That tinsel tree is so cool! 🍸🍸🍸 Have a great evening! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all that is new and how things look in this house compared to your old place. I think it is even "homier" feeling than your old house. I love the tree and I am laughing about the compromising...I am thinking ---yeah-right!!!! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYep, compromising is now a great skill of mine.
DeleteThat's a great tree in the sunroom! Haha, I'm a great compromiser too, but tell Jay it looks awesome with the vintage colored lights. Reminds me of when I was a kid at home. I think any view in your home is wonderful but yes, that one from the sunroom to the LR is great.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rita! Happy Holidays!
DeleteIt’s a beautiful tree Ron. Glad you could compromise on the lights! Love the tinsel tree- those ornaments are too cute!
ReplyDeleteCompromising is key! LOL!
DeleteYour compromise tree is absolutely charming!
ReplyDeleteLooking beautiful! I am definitely a white light girl but your vintage feel on a separate tree is nice when you want to do a colorful tree. Maybe I’ll do a second tree with all the homemade ornaments from AMP’s childhood at the new house. As for now I hide the ones that don’t match the theme in th back. Bad momma. I am going to need a new tree for the new house Eric was informing me as I was putting our up this weekend. We are going to 11’ ceilings so this 7.5er won’t cut the mustard. Once again, beautiful Ron.
ReplyDeleteI am not very sentimental about childhood ornaments. LOL!
DeleteI love that. It's great that you can see the two trees from that room. I love your collection of H throws. They're lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Katie. The H blankets are oh so comfy.
