Ruth's Chris Tastemaker Dinner

Last evening, J and I attended a tastemaker dinner at Ruth's Chris on Fulton Street. The event featured a 5-course meal with wine pairings by Stag's Leap Wine Cellar. It was so delicious.

A tastemaker doesn’t play by the rules. They make their own. Going beyond what’s expected. Daring to pair red meat with white wine. Held on six special nights at Ruth’s Chris Steak Houses across the country, our TasteMaker Dinners pair our finest with today’s tastemakers of wine.

We’re topping off our TasteMaker Dinners series with a five-course pairing featuring another storied winery out of Napa Valley. On May 24, 1976, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars made history when their 1973 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon placed first in the Judgment of Paris blind wine tasting, besting four top-ranked Bordeaux and forever changing the way the world viewed California wine. Today, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars is considered a Napa Valley first-growth estate, producing high-quality and collectible wines that continue to rival the Cabernets of Bordeaux.

Don’t miss your chance to try four incredible wines with this iconic winery. A crisp Sauvignon Blanc, a medium-bodied Chardonnay and their two Cabernet Sauvignons, Artemis and Fay were rightfully chosen alongside five delectable Ruth’s Chris courses.

I can honestly say the company, the dinner, and the wine were excellent. I cannot wait to do this again.

                                 Tastemaker Dinner, y'all!
