The Acorn Cottage {Shades of Gray}
Calling all decorators and wanna-be decorators!!! I am looking for the perfect shade of gray to paint the kitchen cabinets at the Acorn Cottage. Any suggestions are appreciated.

DeleteGood evening, Ron! Looking at the backsplash and countertop, I think that gray will pop on the cabinets especially with the hardware. I found this that you might want to look at, though. https://builderssurplus.us/top-10-gray-cabinet-paint-colors/
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how big your kitchen will be and how many cabinets you will have. My only concern is that if the kitchen is too small that the darker gray will make it look even smaller. I'm no interior decorator by any means, but I do watch HGTV all the time! I'm sure whatever you decide it will be a show-stopper! I saw Honey at Rouses today--she said you don't know the meaning between a "want" and a "need"! ;) Have a great evening! Cheers! xoxo

ReplyDeleteWithout seeing the actual samples, it's hard to tell on my computer screen if the backsplash, countertop, and hardware work with these other BM grays, but, you might consider these Benjamin Moore colors, too: 'Smoke Gray' (2120-40), 'Steel Wool' (2121-20), or 'Whale Gray' (2134-40). Hope this helps! :) - Trisha
