As I mentioned earlier, both baths are getting a complete overhaul from top to bottom. Both look like they have not been touched since the 60s/70s. It is past time for a reno.
Here's how the baths look at this moment:
I am partial to the look of a timeless bath, so I am going for subway tiles on the walls and showers and the penny-style tile for the floors. Both baths will be in the same color scheme but will feature different penny tiles as well as accents. The look I am going for is similar to these.
For the kitchen back splash. I cannot get my mind off this one I found today. Stunning!
I cannot wait for Tuesday, June 12, and the day the demolition begins. I hope you will follow along.
Tiles, y'all!
Love that tile too, it is going to be amazing.
ReplyDeleteRon,
ReplyDeleteLove the tile choices! We did a similar renovation to our 90s era bathroom. We tore out an outdated Jacuzzi tub and replaced it with a walk-in shower/bench and frameless shower door.
Ahhhhhhh love the new inspiration for the bathroom re loves. Ron this is amazing. I cannot wait for June 12th too. These bathrooms are going to be beautiful. Woooo Hoooo!

ReplyDeleteGood morning, Ron! I love the look of a timeless bathroom--subway tile is perfect for creating that look! I really like the tile you are thinking about for the backsplash in the kitchen--it really makes a statement. Can't wait to follow you along during the renovation of the Acorn Cottage!
