Below freezing temperatures for several days turned our beautiful green ferns to brown. Though I like the cold weather, I do not like the aftermath of the ugliness of the yard.
Oh well, this spring will bring lots of coins to the plant nurseries. Luckily, I do like keeping a yard looking nice.
Good morning, Ron! It makes me sad to see your brown ferns. :( I know how much pride you take in your beautiful gardens. Maybe, once you cut back the ferns, they will come back. Have a great day! xoxo
Oh Ron so sad about your ferns. I know how much you love to keep up your beautiful home especially in your garden. This weather across the country has done so much damage to so many beautiful places. We are use to seeing the dead and brown during winter here in the midwest but I know you guys down south get to have year around greens going. So sorry that winter has done such havoc on your pretty yard. Let's hope we all get a nice and early Spring. xoxo Kris

ReplyDeleteOh it really does do a number on pretty ferns. You are so right, spring will be so much better.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to see it brown when you have such pretty green most of the time. It does make Spring more vibrant when it's been brown then turns green!!
