The parlor mantle features two tortoise glass hurricanes, trophies, porcupine quills (I love natural curiosities.), apothecary jars, and horn boxes. I am also loving the cedar wood scent of this Burberry candle. Oooo la la!
The silver turkey is from Timothy De Clue Collection, Seattle.
Turtle shells in a metal-topped jar also adds a Fall touch.
I am also loving the mercury glass pumpkin and foliage in the ceramic urn. Simple and elegant!
Glittered gourds fill the terrarium, and pheasant feather fill an agate vase. An acorn pillow by artist Lisa Papa is another perfect touch.
Have you read or looked at this book yet, Home??? I love it! |
Fall in the Parlor, y'all!
I love your terrarium. It all looks amazing, as usual.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so rich and inviting, Ron. I have a velvet leopard print pillow just like yours!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the HOME book yet, Ron. The book with your home in it is one of the few books that I refuse to part with-and still enjoy immensely.
ReplyDeleteLove everything. I don't think I have ever seen a collection of turtle shells before though. How do those come about...the turtles die and someone finds the shell?
Have a great week, Ron. xo Diana
Good evening, Ron! Love everything as usual! Have a great evening! Cheers! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe custom acorn pillow is the perfect seasonal touch...luv it!
ReplyDeleteYou live in such good taste and style, Ron! After you retire, you really should entertain the idea of having a little shop or booth somewhere. That book - hard to find but after combing the internet, I managed. The preview looks and sounds wonderful. Dear Santa......1.) HOME
ReplyDeleteI love your classic style, the reason I joined your blog. Elements carefully placed and yet totally usable---form and function....love that!
