#tbt {Halloween Facade 2012}

#tbt

It is always fun to take a look back at the facade of the home. Today's #tbt goes back to October 2012. Check out the SPOOKtacular spiders!
From the street, the facade of our home is bedecked in the creatures of the Halloween season.

Spiders, crows, and witches abound. The large spiders appear to be traveling down the front of the home.

The oyster wreath is topped with a black & orange mesh ribbon and a glittered “BOO” banner.

The black cast iron urns are filled with lighted jack o’lanterns.

The witch on the door is actually made from screen.

27

Crows top each entrance.

A season appropriate mat welcomes all.

28

Even Oprah, the tenant’s black cat, fits into the Halloween decor when she peers out the window.

The front garden features a terra cotta jack o’lantern.

I will feature the facade at night in an upcoming post.

  3. Well, you might not scare kids away, but I bet there'll be a lot of adults who won't come near that front porch, lol. Those are insanely huge, and scary for those who don't like spiders. (not mentioning any names, lol).

  4. I remember that post, Ron. I think if we didn't spray here by the bay we might have spiders that big crawling on our house! lol
    Hope you have a great weekend. xo Diana

  5. Love looking back at your Halloween. My saying whenever there is a spider is to burn the house down!!!! So If I lived in your house with all those spiders creepy crawling I would have had to burn the house down lol! Have a great new week.
