The inspiration:
"Baobab Collection first saw the light of day in 2002, in the enchanting landscape of Tanzania, a country rich in intense colors and bewitching perfumes. The collections are inspired by faraway spaces and wild nature but it is in Belgium that the new creations are dreamed up."
J & I purchased the Manhattan candle from Sotre on Magazine Street this summer. It was placed on the mantle and remains there today.
"Celebrate one of the world’s most iconic cities with this Manhattan scented candle from Baobab. Presented in a clear glass vessel, this candle is adorned with a shimmering silver metallic fretwork design inspired by the breathtaking Chrysler building in New York. Handmade and hand poured, it has notes of rich musk, lily of the valley and pine tree to infuse any room with the intoxicating perfume of the city."
