EGGceptional Mantle

The mantle is dressed for the Easter season. I enjoy using the two vintage trophy cups on each side of the mantle, so I created a small arrangement using salal leaves (my favorite aka lemon leaf) and some of the speckled, gilded eggs that I like to use in bowls and containers around the house.

A vintage-looking bunny, trophy cups filled with eggs, and my fave Dyptique Baies candle finish the look.

This year I also added an Easter banner as well as the EGGceptional ribbon I shared yesterday.

The mantle is ready for a visit from Peter Cottontail or the Easter Bunny.
"Run along Jack, here comes the Easter bunny." Who can name the movie of this quote?

Join me Thursday for an Easter Tabletop Tour.

My Easter Mantle, y'all!

  2. Not sure--but was that line from Steel Magnolias? Other than that--I give!

WHERE in the world did you find those Easter eggs? They are fabulous! Now THOSE are eggs that I would like to have around. They are great on your mantle and fill those trophies beautifully. Loving the banner, too. Great job getting ready for the Easter bunny! xo Diana

  3. Good morning, Ron! The mantle looks great like I knew it would. Love those eggs in the trophy cups--I have always admired them in your past Easter posts, and the ribbon looks great with the banner. Now, that quote is from Steel Magnolias. Clairee said that to Jack after she told him the story about the evil witch Ouiser! Ha! Have a great day! xoxo

  7. It's Steel Magnolias! I've only watched it a hundred times, so I might not be totally sure ;)

Your gorgeous mantel is beautifully decorated in it's Easter finery. I really love those trophy cups.

My guess is that you live in an old home too, but I guess I'll have to read on to find out more ;)
