For the second year in a row, we stayed at the luxurious Waldorf Astoria on Park Avenue and in walking distance to just about everything we wished to see and do.
The decorations are absolutely breathtaking. Wreaths of gold and silver orbs and live greens for days.
Inside, garlands, wreaths, and even a tree of gold gilded magnolia leaves set the elegant tone of Christmas at the Waldorf.
Waldorf Astoria, y'all!
Good evening, Ron! I'm glad you and Jeff are home safe. I have never been to NYC at Christmas, but it is on my bucket list for sure. Your pictures are amazing. I guess you didn't make it to The Monkey Bar--definitely put it on your list for you next trip. Have a great evening! Cheers! xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt is on our list for next year. We really loved the Upper East Side.... very chic, old school, ritzy.
DeleteOh Ron, thanks so much for sharing the beautiful hotel.
ReplyDeleteMany years ago I was in New York and it was stunning seeing all the lights and decorations. We stayed at The Grand Hyatt by Grand Central Station and it was amazing.
Thanks so much for sharing and bringing back some wonderful memories.
