Giving Thanks for ... {The New Hazelnut}

Hazelnut has opened its new store only four doors down from its previous location at 5525 Magazine Street. The new location is almost three times larger and features many exciting new things. Hazelnut is sophisticated mix of unique home goods and gifts presented in a stylish boutique.

On Saturday, I spent four hours working the sales floor and register. It was fun getting back in the swing of things. I first worked at Hazelnut in 2008 and stopped when Honey had her stroke in September 2009. I have been a customer ever since and was happy to be asked to come back to help with the opening of the new store location.

The Christmas decoration offerings are endless.

When you are on Magazine Street add Hazelnut to your must-shop list. You will not be disappointed.

Even more Hazelnut to come...

Thanks for Hazelnut, y'all!

  6. Working in a shop like that would be a blast! Lots and lots of goodies...it definitely doesn't look like the "average" gift shop.

  12. Thank You for sharing so many wonderful photos of the new shop. I'd love to visit but it's quite a roadtrip from GA...maybe next year. I especially love the christmas ornaments, they are so beautiful!

    I was in your old neighborhood this weekend, my sweetie and I went to the Day of the Dead celebration at The Bone Garden Cantina off of Atlanta Road. We drove past your old house, it needs some TLC, the new owners just don't have your commitment to fabulous!
    Cheers!
