Did You Hear?

One of my favorite shops on Magazine, Hazelnut, is moving. But don't fret, for the shop is moving only a few doors down to a much needed, larger location. In fact, the shop is almost three times as large as the present one.

I worked at Hazelnut from 2008-2009 when J & I first moved to New Orleans, and I love to work with such beautiful things. I was asked recently if I'd like to be part of the opening of Hazelnut's new location. I was flattered to be asked, and I jumped at the chance to get back in the groove of gift wrapping and sales.

I showed up today after a long work day to help in receiving items and tagging them for resale.

The new store is coming along and will be amazing. I cannot wait to share the opening of this gem of a store in the coming weeks. There is still lots of work to do.....

Hazelnut is moving, y'all!

    1. Yes. I do like it. I am not too big on receiving items, but it does feel like Christmas morn.
