The unofficial end to summer is Labor Day, and as usual we celebrated in our favorite place, Grand Isle. We were quite lucky to have had good weather and the ability to soak up some needed vitamin "sea". I love this sound.
We also celebrated my nephew's 13th birthday. Where oh where has time gone?
Happy Birthday to Jean-Luc!
I am so ready for some Fall weather. Oh, how I miss the Fall in Atlanta.
Good evening, Ron! Looks like the end of summer in Grand Isle was a great one! I hope Jean-Luc had a great birthday celebration! I, too, am so ready for some cooler weather. Have a great evening! Cheers! xoxo
What a great place to spend the last weekend of summer. Beaches you can drive on are just the best aren't they? Your family looks so happy and friendly. I bet they are a real joy to be around. Now...on to fall! Yipee!
Great photos, Ron... I am sooo not ready to turn loose of summer...fall is ok...winter is fantastic when I can sit by the fire, hot tea and a big ole piece of fudge cake...but summer is my true love. Happy Birthday to Jean-Luc...such a magical age...
That looks like a great way to celebrate Labor Day weekend! You're not missing anything in Atlanta right now. It's still very hot and doesn't feel like Fall yet. You should travel here in October though. It will be nice then.
