Sitting downstairs today, I heard a loud boom as well as felt vibrations coming from upstairs. It felt to me what I believe an earthquake would feel like. I quickly ran upstairs to this.
Imagine if I was sleeping in the bed. I would have had a heart attack.
Evidently, moisture is getting into the ceiling from the roof (no DUH), and it caused the mess.
So now, J & I are sleeping in the guestroom.
And the maids were here yesterday. Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
It Ain't Pretty, y'all!
life happens...hope you are able to have it fixed soon.
ReplyDeleteOh no Ron!! No fun at all. Sorry you guys have to deal with that. Brought back memories from a few weeks back when I fell thru the attic ceiling while we were cleaning it out.
ReplyDeleteWow! I feel for you, Ron. A couple of weeks ago, at 3 a.m., I heard water dripping. We got up to find water leaking from the a/c unit in the attic. The ceiling was bulging, about to burst. (Apparently, it had been leaking for awhile.) We caught it just in time; but, still had to replace the drywall.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, well, not so good morning, Ron. Wow, that is quite a mess. :( I hope you have a trusty carpenter to fix that soon. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh boy- time for a roof inspection and maybe a new roof! Glad it didn't happen while you were in bed! That would certainly be a rude awakening!!
ReplyDeleteOh no!!
ReplyDeleteOh Ron!!! Hope that will not cost a lot to fix. Try and have a good week end.
