This is what I see when I enter the master bedroom, scaffolding.
The room kind of reminds me of that early 90s video of Paula Abdul, "Cold Hearted." I think I'll dance rather than cry.
The workers spent most of Friday preparing the room for installation of new drywall. Plastic was taped and placed over everything. All ready to be perfect again!
Cold Hearted, y'all!
Oh, I would have been crying the whole time. Just seems like nothing will ever be in its rightful place again after work like this!! Hope all comes together for you and to your liking!!!
ReplyDeleteGood evening, Ron! I'm sure all will be right once the carpenters are finished. I had to have cracks in my den wall and ceiling fixed this week as well as mold on the ceiling. All is good now--it's so good having reliable, local people to do the work. I hope you have the same experience. Cheers! xoxo
ReplyDeleteUgh!! Here's to a quick fix and that everything is perfect and back in it's place.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Gee
Too bad all this has to take place but it looks like they're being very careful to do a nice job. It would make me crazy though wondering where the leak is coming from.
ReplyDeleteOh my word, what an ordeal. Glad it wasn't worse.
ReplyDeleteAlways something with a home. Praying it all goes well!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you weren't squooshed! Reminds me of the time my parent's kitchen cabinets fell and broke every dish in the house. So sorry you are having to go through all of this. Old houses are like beauty queens. High maintenance, but worth the effort.
ReplyDeleteOh, Ron! Have been out of town for one last blast before school and am just catching up. I'm so sorry to hear this! I love every inch of the 100+ year old house I grew up in, but understand that it's always something. Your home is a true beauty! Wishing a speedy process for you!!!
