The Weekend That Was {April 29-May 1}

After work on Friday, J and I hightailed it to Grand Isle, our first trip to the Isle this year.

We spent our Friday night dining at the Hurricane Hole. I still cannot believe this beautiful restaurant and marina is in Grand Isle.

On Saturday, we headed to the beach for some sun and sand. Most of the day was nice until mid-afternoon when the skies opened up. It is Sunday evening as I type this, and it is still raining cats and dogs.

I always love Grand Isle, and this weekend was a great start to our "Island Time".

Island Time, y'all!

I always love when I am on island time! Island breezes and slow time. The best.
