These pinkish peonies look great on the entry chest. But I have a secret. These blooms are faux. I am not a big fan of faux blooms, but the quality of faux blooms is getting better and better.
I picked a couple bunches of peonies from Hazelnut on Magazine Street last month, and I added them to the Vagabond House pewter wine bucket.
These blooms certainly say spring to me.
And GET IN LINE....
Pickin' Peonies, y'all!
Wish I could have let you know - and wish the time had been longer. We were in NOLA for a short time last Friday, May 13. Had to hurry back to Baton Rouge for a wedding, however, so we were quite limited in the time we had. Love those peonies!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Faux's!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I agree...faux blooms HAVE gotten better. You had me fooled. Love peonies, but I don't have much luck growing them.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Ron! If you would not have said so, I would never have known those peonies are faux--they look so real! Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThose look wonderful. When a faux bloom looks so real you have to check it out to see if it's real you know you've done well!
ReplyDeleteMe me me, I love peonies! And yours are great faux ones. I have a few that I love too. Sheila
ReplyDeleteLove peonies. Sadly, our have bloom and gone for this spring already! I am finding better "faux" florals this year too. Now, if someone would just figure out how to make them dust themselves!!
