The smell of Confederate jasmine in Uptown at this time of year is intoxicating.
The tiny white star-shaped blooms cast a sweet aroma through the neighborhood. I adore the look of the vine trained in an "X" pattern. It looks so classic.
That's gorgeous! I would love to grow a vine on my fence in an X like that. I wonder how you care for the fence every few years with the vine on there. We are required to keep ours stained. Hmmm.... just looked it up and Confederate Jasmine grows here. :)
Beautiful....love the espalier of Jasmine!!! I had an arbor covered with this in a previous home and when the flowers bloomed at first I remember having to dodge the bees!...A small price to pay for beauty!
Good evening, Ron! I love the smell of Confederate Jasmine, too! It is such a Southern scent. Have a great evening! Cheers! xoxo

ReplyDeleteWow that is a fantastic display. I wonder how long it took to get this so perfect!
ReplyDeleteThis is really eye-catching! I'm not sure that we have Confederate jasmine around here. I don't think I've ever seen it, but that means nothing!:-)
