Well? My dream did not come true as I am up early getting ready for work. I thought for sure I would have a note "You can RETIRE" in my card from J. No go! Boo! I want to travel with him.
On the positive note, I do feel good. My cardiologist visit last week was a positive one, so for that I am most grateful. I am surrounded by an amazing family and close group of friends.
Cheers to 48, y'all!
Happy Birthday...and many many more! I am way past you...and still counting! Laissez les bons temps rouler! sheila
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteHappy happy birthday, Ron! I'm so glad your doctor's visit went well. Hopefully you can retire soon and go see the world. You don't look 48, Mr. Blue Eyes! ;) You have a young spirit! ;)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Happy Birthday Ron! We are very close in age. I'm 51. I agree that there are benefits to getting older. I don't feel like I have to have everyone like me the way I did when I was younger. I'm more confident with myself. However, I could do without the grey hair (that I color)! I will never go grey. I think it immediately ages you. I'm sure retirement will be here before you know it. My husband is retiring from the fire dept next month!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very Happy Birthday, Ron! Hope your day was extra special!
ReplyDeleteHope it was a great birthday! You're too young to retire! Glad to know your cardiologist visit was good!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Ron! I turned 59 yesterday--yikes! So happy that your cardiologist visit went well. Have a great day! xoxo

Happy Birthday! You are the same age as my son, so of course, I think you are a mere baby. (Of course, I was a child bride, so what do I know.)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a divine day and that you will get your wish to retire and travel soon. I have to tell you, that is a really wonderful goal and when it arrives, it will be all the sweeter.
We will be in NOLA soon, and I am going to search your blog and LeslieAnne's to find things to do!
