The New Orleans cocktail-inspired paper makes a wonderful addition to the backsplash of our bar area. The great thing is that I can change it regularly. I measured the back wall carefully and had it professionally laminated at our local Fed Ex/Kinko's.
I framed another sheet in two simple black frames which hang perfectly on either side of the bar.
With another sheet, I cut it to fit the bottom of an acrylic tray. The tray is made for inserting fabrics and papers. I found the perfect tray on etsy {click HERE}.
I think the paper makes an excellent statement and will be changing it out periodically.
By the way, I used glue dots to make the hanging and removal easy.
Cocktail-inspired back splash, y'all!
This is cute and clever, just like you Ron!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Ron! Well, are you one crafty person! Love the new look to the bar area--that paper is perfect! I'm going to have to visit Scriptura the next time I'm in NOLA. Have a great day! Cheers! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThis is so creative and great Ron. I love that you could change it but why would you it looks great.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the last few weeks here of summer before heading back to school.

Love this!!! Have been anxiously awaiting this post since your sneak peek on IG. Such a fabulous idea and it turned out beautifully! Hope you had a great first day of school!
ReplyDeleteLove this!!! Perfect for the bar area but love it is changeable.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! I like the street car print too!
ReplyDeleteWell, this about the cleverest thing I have seen all day. Now I need to figure out somewhere to use it. I have a different bar set up than you, so the backsplash idea for the bar won't work for me. I already have a tray for the booze, so that won't work either. Now this is going to bug me till I figure it out! Do know if this store does mail order?
ReplyDeleteVery cool Ron!!! Love it!
