I picked it up this afternoon and love it. The floral designer not only added the white orchid but also added willow and English ivy. I adore the way in which the green ivy spills over the shell to soften it.
The shell was placed on the sofa table in the den. I love how the orchid brings the outdoors in. It captures the lushness of the courtyard beyond the den.
I thought this was funny.....
What color do you see now?
Orchids, y'all!
Ron, that orchid loos perfect on the clam container. As a florist my self I am always looking at clever ways people use containers to arrange plants and flowers and let me tell you, you hit the nail on the head!!!

I'm with Babs--I thought you had dropped the clam shell when I first began to read this blog! ;) The orchid arrangement is perfect for the clam shell, and it looks great on the sofa table in the den--definitely brings the lushness of the courtyard into the den. Love the dress, too! Have a great day! xoxo
