Jazz Fest 2015 is in the books. I must say that the attendance on Saturday must have broken records. Under clear blue skies, the crowd was unbelievably thick.
Do you see our flag???
We enjoyed listening to the sounds of Marcia Ball and Sir Elton John at the Acura Stage.
We also enjoyed the delicious foods – crawfish bread, and bar-b-q shrimp poboy were a couple of my favorites.
The closing act of Saturday night, Elton John, was amazing. The crowd sang all of his popular songs. He played for two straight hours.
And my favorite….. Crocodile Rock!!!
We had a great day with many great friends. A big thank you to Gary and Jay for reserving our “property”.
Jazz Festin’, y’all!

ReplyDeleteHi Ron,
ReplyDeleteThe Jazz fest looks like a lot of fun. I have everyone of Elton John's records/Cd's and know every word to every song. Love him. Glad you had such a great time.

WOW...this looks like so much fun. If I ever see Sir Elton John in person, I will faint dead away...I just know I would. I am such a huge fan. Once, my daughter and friends went to one of his concerts and when he started to sing my favorite song of his, she called me so I could hear it...in person...sort of...hahhha
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a great time....
