I hope you and yours had a blessed Easter. I was happy to spend the day with family.
We had reservations at Broussard’s in the French Quarter at noon. The brunch was delicious, and the jazz was perfect. I love to get “dressed up” on Easter Sunday. Furthermore, I love knowing that I do not have to set an alarm tomorrow.
I had the super delicious fried chicken and waffles. Yummo!
We also got to love on John David, my nephew. What a cutie!
After lunch, we headed back to our house and opened gifts from the Easter bunny. We also walked to Yogurtland and enjoyed dessert.
I love wearing seersucker on Easter.
Easter Sunday, y’all!
You all look so fine in your Easter finery, Ron, and it sounds like a wonderful day! Enjoy your time off.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Ron! You look so Southern and dapper in your seersucker suit. Looks like you had a marvelous day yesterday! Lucy is such a little lady, and John David is precious! I know you will definitely enjoy your time off! Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a splendid southern day...I went out without a jacket for the first time since 2014. Thanks for sharing the fun family photos.
ReplyDeleteSuch great pictures, sounds like the perfect day.
ReplyDeleteRon - I always love going out for lunch on Easter. Since I gave up cooking a few years ago, I'm always on the hunt for nice restaurants. It looks like Broussard's is the perfect place and I'm sorry we don't live closer to NOLA!
ReplyDeleteI know you enjoyed the short school holiday. You're on the downhill slope now!
Take care,
Kathy
