Are you a fan of chemistry? I bet you’d like chemistry much better if it came in this form.
Last week, I was walking out of Little Miss Muffin in Lakeview when I spotted this great serving tray, the Periodic Table of New Orleans.
Complete with iconic New Orleans images, it is a perfect fit in the home of a science teacher.
Some of the New Orleans “elements” include:
- Pb-poboy
- Bn-beignet
- Mg-Mardi Gras
- Sc-streetcar
- Wd-Who Dat
- Ok-oak trees
- Vd-voodoo
It will be a great tray to use and a fun conversation piece.
I have displayed the tray in my kitchen window atop the sink. I love when i stumble upon such fun accessories.
Periodic Table, y’all!
I adore this! I've also seen a version of the table for Southerners and even one for desserts, but I love the local version. Walter White would be proud.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Ron! What an appropriate find for you! It is so clever and so you! Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteAwesome tray, Ron! It just makes me smile. You always find the best accessories! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat is super clever! Someone should jump on that marketing idea for all the states (I tried googling for my state of WV with no luck). My SIL is also a Science educator, and would like that! Very cool, Ron.

I have very little scientific ability, Ron. This Periodic Table makes lots more sense to me!:-) That other one gave me a huge headache!:-)
