It’s no secret that as a science teacher, I should adore Thomas Alva Edison, and I do. I especially adore his namesake, the Edison bulb. The classic, timeless, and industrial nature of the bulb really strikes my fancy.
Recently, I purchased a couple industrial lamps using Edison bulbs. The glow given off by each is amazing.
I found this beauty for less than $60.00 online at Cost Plus World Market. It looks great on the parlor secretary. It adds a welcoming masculine touch.
The second lamp, faceted bulb lamp, and bulb was purchased from the newly opened Magazine Street location of West Elm. I like it on the den shelves. Perfect.
Edison, y’all!
Good morning, Ron! Loving how you displayed your two lamps. Now, that we are in the process of buying the Jackson Avenue condo, maybe I'll be able to see all of your new "finds"! Have a great day! xoxo
