Ten days left of this school year. Where oh where has the time gone? But, it does seem the last few weeks go by at a snail’s pace. Sssssssssssslllllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww!

Thanks to my friend, second cousin by marriage, & former co-worker Judy David for helping me in coming up with this year’s countdown.

Because I am so excited for the end of the school year, I am giving away two Uptown Acorn logo koozies in navy and lime green. The koozies were made by HKL Designs.

To register for the koozies, you must follow Uptown Acorn on facebook for ONE chance and on instagram(@theuptownacorn) for a SECOND chance.

Leave me a comment on each telling me the beverage that will be kept cool by the koozies.

  6. I follow you on Instagram... :). I'd say I'd most likely be putting a coke in it, but during tailgating season most likely a beer - blue moon in a bottle... :)

  7. My daughter will be done with her first year of teaching next Wednesday. So hard to believe. Seems like just yesterday she told her dad and I she was quitting her good paying job to try and earn a teaching degree! Well, she did it and they resigned her contract for next year!!!!

Love the koozies! Drink...hmmm...not a soda drinker, haven't found a GF beer I like yet, so probably for now one of my La Croix waters! BORING!!! LOL

  12. Hey Ron! I hear ya on the last weeks going by so slow! Then the summer goes too fast! Next year I will one kid as a senior and one in kindergarten! It will be a crazy year! If I win, not sure what I would drink...sweet tea, Arnold Palmer or if I keep thinking about next year something stronger!

  16. Wow you get done with your school year early! Ours goes into June- probably the 10th this year because of some snow days they have to make up but we also don't start until the day after Labor Day. I'm sure you'll enjoy the time off and have liars of fun! The cozies are awesome- we'd use them for an ice cold bottled beer! I'm already following you on FB.

  18. I've followed your blog for quite sometime now and I'd love to have an uptown acorn koozie to carry my lake drink in this summer, here in Arkansas. And thanks for showing me all the fabulous places to visit in NOLA, my favorite place on earth!!

  19. Ron, I follow you on Facebook and of course your blog. I visit several times a week to catch up on you and your stylist life. Love it;)

I have a collection of koozies (one must have one to match every outfit). I usually have a small one in my purse because "you just never know when you'll need one". I'd to honored to add yours to my collection. Thanks for the opportunity.

Have fun this summer, but I some how I know you will. Enjoy!!

  23. Well, Ron, I'm one of those "dull ones." The beverage that I would be keeping cool would be plain old ice water. That must be my "drink of choice" at this point in my life.:-) I subscribe to your posts through the Blogger Dashboard, but have no Facebook service.

  24. I'm a follower on the Facebook. Until they make Drunk Arnolds (Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka & Lemonade) in a can, I guess I'll stick with Diet Coke for now.
