Island Made…

If you ever wondered why I have such an affinity for the beach, now you know. I was basically born there.

Grand Isle has always been such a special place to spend weekends and summer days here in South Louisiana. The water is not as crystal clear as the beaches of Florida due to the emptying Mississippi River, but it is paradise to us.

My “cousin” Monique and I have always been inseparable ever since we were born two weeks apart. The beach has always called our name.

We all still love our times on the isle {even before golf carts}.

  3. Love your pictures! I too have a lot of pictures of summers spent at the beach. I think I past my love of the beach on to Ben. It is in our DNA for sure!

I have to ask...is your inner tube a deer?
