It was another great weekend in the lives of Ron & J.
On Saturday, J & I ate lunch at Slice Pizzeria on Magazine Street.
We sipped Bloody Marys and shared the special, Buffalo chicken pizza. Yum!
After lunch, J & I stopped at the Uptown plant nursery, Urban Roots on Tchoupitoulas Street. It is the time of the year to get vegetable and herb plants.
I set up the new galvanized troughs in the side yard, filled with good soil, and J planted the veggies and herbs.
We also attended my school’s annual gala on Saturday night.
We met friends at the bar at Ralph’s on the Park near City Park.
J & I attended the gala and had a great time.
How was your weekend?
Back to school and looking forward to French Quarter Festival coming this weekend. I am hoping for great weather. It is one of my favorite fests.

Good morning, Ron! Looks like you had another full weekend. I did, too. I went to that wedding in Houston that I told you about in your post from yesterday. I'm exhausted today. I feeling a nap sometime this weekend. Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Ron, Just found your blog and so enjoyed my visit. Looks like a great weekend for you and J. The garden center looks amazing. I've been many times to mine in the last 2 weeks and having a great time redesigning the garden after our cold snap here in Texas.

Are you ready for the routine of another work week after such a week-end? We've done some planting of onions and potatoes here already and will have to replace the rosemary after our harsher than usual winter. Enjoy your Monday!
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed my visit via, Delores from Vignette Designs.
ReplyDeleteWill enjoy getting to know you much better.
