We love Fairhope & a Happy Birthday Sis

J & I spent yesterday shopping away in Downtown Fairhope. Fairhope is such a quaint and lovely town complete with some of the friendliest people in the South.

We did lunch at our fave, The Fairhope Inn.

You can’t beat the delicious cocktails and food served on the charming glass-enclosed porch.

I devoured the fried green tomatoes topped with crab meat, and Jeff dined on the delicious pork roast.

And look who stopped by the Fairhope Inn to say “hello”, none other than the lovely Leslie Ann of Fairhope Supply Co. blog. She was as nice in person as she is on her fabulous blog. She is certainly in LOVE with Fairhope, and I can see why.

We then trekked on foot throughout the numerous specialty shops in Downtown Fairhope.

Last night, we finally dined at Wash House. It was delicious. {No food pics, sorry!}

J & I shared this delectable dessert, key lime bread pudding. We were told that it had been featured in Southern Living. Yum!

I must also wish my favorite sister a very happy 41st birthday today. She’ll be celebrating in Steamboat Springs, CO, so I do not feel sorry for her. Steamboat. Costa Rica. Live the life!

  6. I'm so envious of all those great trips you and J take together. The food looked delicious. I must say I would've chosen what you did as I love fried green tomatoes and crab meat! I'm also a huge fan of key lime pie so that bread pudding you tried looked delicious too. What a great place to visit!
