Spring in the Dining Room {2014}

Today, let’s move into the dining room. I have to say that I am enjoying this birthday gift. My dough bowl is and will be so fun to change up for the seasons.

For spring, I added a bunny holding his meal of choice and a variety of eggs in an array of styles and colors. I adore the way the entire vignette turned out.

The greens of the ivy and preserved boxwood balls make for an interesting backdrop to the addition of the Easter accessories.

  2. Good morning, Ron! Happy "Hump Day"! I'm enjoying my first cup of coffee as I read today's post. The vignette that you created in your dough board is so adorable. It may be my favorite of all--the lusciousness of the green with the various eggs and "Peter Cottontail" is so whimsical and "springish." Have a great day! xoxo

  4. I am loving all your spring vignettes!! That rabbit is adorable. I would love to purchase another larger dough bowl. They are so versatile! I rank them right up there with giant clam shells ;-)

  5. That looks excellent! I love how big your dough bowl is and how it allows you to add something like the bunny. I like the mix of the greens with the bunny- it's his garden! I haven't started with Easter deco yet- I gues I need to aim in that direction!!

  7. Hi Ron, I love the dough bowl and the way you filled it with Spring décor! We are away but I did manage to decorate SOME for Spring before we left. HOP on over to check it out:):) I plan to really do Easter décor when we get home. We are kinda stuck in Fl. as we were in an accident on the way down and the car is being repaired in Charleston, SC....... Have a beautiful week!!!!

  13. Ron,
    Love your new blog design. It fits you perfect! I am more than ready for some spring décor after this winter. I found the cutest burlap rabbit garland at Target a few weeks ago and will be hanging it today along with my egg wreath for the front door. Love you dough bowl centerpiece and I think that was the same rabbit you used in your décor last spring which I thought was cute but perhaps a little sinister looking. ha!
