Sing it! It’s Mardi Gras time…..
I wanted to start my Mardi Gras posts with the facade but the weather will not cooperate. I am waiting for a sunny, not so windy day to take outdoor photos. I hope you will not mind.
On the parlor mantle, I used a ball garland in the signature colors of purple, green, and gold. Harlequin-designed bows are tied loosely to each corner.
On the bottom shelf, I filled my English biscuit barrel with plumes. Two of my Lorraine Gendron parade pieces fill the middle. A Japanese Quince Seda France candle in a crown holder completes the vignette.
Atop, I filled two more biscuit barrels with metallic shreds.
The parlor mantle is ready to greet all the Mardi Gras revelers who visit the house on Perrier.
I hope you will join me in my 2014 Mardi Gras decorated home tour.
