Uptown Mardi Gras parades roll to “start” the season tonight, and there are several parades scheduled for the first weekend of Carnival.
It’s that time of year when we place garbage cans in the front of the house to mark our places. It’s also that time of year when we see friends and acquaintances that we have not seen in a year. The best way to keep in touch with some is to have a house along the parade route--- free restroom/free booze.
I love the Mardi Gras season, and I hope the weather cooperates with us this year.

ReplyDeleteThe rain storm cleared through Fairhope around 7am and now we have sunny skies. It's on top of you now, but the sun (and clear starry night) will soon follow!
