After a great night with the Pointer Sisters, J and I trekked to one of our favorite towns, Ocean Springs for the annual Christmas Open House of its favorite shops and businesses.
We visited the Hillyer House where I added a number of things to my Christmas list. I especially loved the Southern paintings by Gulf Coast artist Jean McKee. J, are you listening?
Many of the shops served coffees and/or spiked punch along with small nibbles.
Look what I found at Poppy’s on Porter.
I saw these wreaths by Mudpie while at One Fish, Two Fish in Savannah and just did not want to have to carry them on the plane. These mini oyster shell wreaths are a perfect addition to my Southern holiday decor.
I added the small wreaths to my parlor Christmas tree.
I also purchased the trees a while back here in New Orleans too. They are sold in sets of three differing sizes.
Do you remember these from my shopping excursion in Savannah?
The orbs are perfect too!
Oyster shell ornaments, mini wreaths, and trees are a great addition to my Southern coastal decor.
Mini Oyster wreaths, y’all!
I love these wreaths Ron. They are perfect in your decor. Jan

Glad you had fun shopping and I HOPE J is "listening". You may have to do a print out and hang it on his mirror to get him to "listen" if he is anything like the one I have here. Have a great day teaching! xo Diana
