Last evening in lieu of our “regular” supper club, J & I invited our friends over to the house before walking to La Thai for dinner.
We served a few appetizers and a special holiday cocktail which I dub Christmas Cheer, a mixture of cranberry juice, champagne, and ginger ale. I then garnish with dried cranberries just for the spirited look.
Friends posed for photos in the parlor.
Our annual photo on the stairs is a must.
We all walked a few blocks to our favorite Thai restaurant, La Thai where we dined on delicious food, yummy cocktails, and shared delightful conversation.
We walked home afterwards and shared more “parlor patter”.
It is always a great time when our friends get together. J & I love to host such “good people”.
I love this holiday decoration on the side wall of this home along our walk. Cheers!
Fun with Friends, y’all!
Looks like you had a lovely time with friends. The cranberry punch looks delicious! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful time. You must send me the proportions for your Christmas Cheer cocktail. I have to try La Thai out--I love Thai food. Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic idea! I love the idea of hosting drinks and apps then heading OUT for dinner. We could easily do that here as well since we have several wonderful restaurants within a mile or so.

ReplyDeleteI love this idea, we always do it with our friends too...we have drinks and o'dervs at each others homes before going out for dinner. Hope you had a wonderful C'mas along with your beautiful children.
