One of the things I love about Christmas decorating is trimming the tree with special ornaments collected by J and me through the years. It is always fun to reminisce as to where we were and what each ornament reminds us of.
Most of the ornaments are from the tree in the den but several are found on the parlor tree.
Enjoy the collection of ornaments on the tree.
Trimming the tree, y’all!
Isn't it fun. You have a lot of ornaments that represent the area you live in. I like that!
ReplyDeleteLovely ornaments. I actually collect them wherever I am on vacation. My latest was the Pinnochio from Florence, Italy. Your tree looks lovely too!
ReplyDeleteI regret that though the years I didn't collect meaningful ornaments! I tend to change up the tree too much! I love your collection and just imagine some of the memories behind them! Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI love the little red boots with the white dots on them! That's my favorite. You've got so many wonderful ornaments on your tree.
ReplyDeleteThe little polka dot boots are actually a sophisticated homage to the Cajun shrimp boots which are white. LOL
DeleteYou have some lovely ornaments! I like the acorns, but particularly like the polka-dotted red boots! I have a granddaughter who would love those!
ReplyDeleteLove them all--those shrimp boots are too cute! I, too, have memories behind most of my ornaments. My favorite ones this year are the ones I bought in Carmel and the pineapple ornament that my sister bought me in Hawaii. Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOrnaments collected by J and me...not J and I.
ReplyDeleteyou have some beauties!
ReplyDeleteYour ornament collection is beautiful. It makes a tree so special to have ornaments that have a special meaning. I like your New Orleans ones best.
